I founded GetDarker back in 2003, with that and five successful years on Rinse FM, I often get labelled a veteran of this music genre, which can't be a good thing?! From DJ'ing globally, presenting TV episodes, and interviewing leading artists; I also hold the pressure of tracklisting each of the chart-topping 'This Is Dubstep' compilation albums, and of course our new record label.

I'm fiercely proud of the work we do here and the people we have doing it.

My extra-curricular activities are grossly misreported, although I have completed the London Marathon the past two years, and I have a discrete passion for trance music.

I manage everything technical at GetDarker, from servers to streaming and building new things such as APIs and other services to power the GetDarker engine. It's all very secret in this area so can't tell you too much about the stuff or things we have going on behind the scenes but just imagine it's like something from the Matrix, but without the leather jacket.

Whilst we're based in Croydon, South London; occasionally, when I am on a train I sometimes drift off into another world and end up well beyond my destination, earning myself the nickname, Gatwick.

My favourite animal is an Elk.

Originally 1 of only a handful DJ's and producers in the Dubstep world, I am what you would call a true pioneer of the sound. This opened a lot of doors and in 2004 secured myself a show on the legendary 'Rinse FM'.

As the scene grew and more work came in I was able to leave my job as an underwear model (using being a plumber as a cover story) and concentrate on music full time in which I'm still doing today... In between rounds of golf.

Besides being the mature father figure, one of my main roles within GetDarker is managing the GetDarkerTV section from line-ups to remote streaming opportunities from clubs and other venues.

I study Events Management in Leeds, aspiring to be kick ass in the future. I was once a trooper for the GetDarker clan, then recently became part of it. I attend to the weekly duties of the GetDarker tribe, assisting in the usual chores such as plumping pillows and high level dusting.

My hobbies include knitting, making origami and despising cheese.

But on a serious note, I help organise the GetDarker events, TV broadcasts, website and get trigger happy with a camera. However, I will iron shirts on request.

So I'm the newest addition, the GetDarker team's Journalist!

When I'm not blowing my money in Urban Outfitters you'll find me in Nandos or practicing my Norfolk accent.

Besides being the best drinker out of all of us, my responsibilties include reviewing recent events and releases (some would call me a critic); not much reaches the site without coming through me. Other than that I get involved with interviews and pop down to the studio as often as I can to assist with GetDarkerTV.
